Registration-labels with non-consecutive numbers. Strip of four labels for Trautmannsdorf in Oststeiermark, numbered 034, 035, 936, 937. This happens because the machine cannot stop suddenly after printing label 1000. In this case the machine has carried on to number 035. The machine has then stopped, and the operator has manually changed the first digit to 9 and restarted the machine. The strip of numbers from 936-999, 001-035,should have been destroyed as printer's waste.
