How To Join

Annual Subscriptions are £20 (or Euro25) per year for UK and Europe or £23 (US$30) for Overseas Airmail. An alternative form of membership is available in which for £10 or equivalent per year, the journal AUSTRIA will be emailed as pdf files instead of on paper. The membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March and subscriptions are due on 1 April each year. If subscriptions are not paid by 1 October, membership will be deemed to have lapsed. Irrespective of when they join, new members will receive all the back numbers for the year in which they join. The subscription of members joining between 1 January and 31 March will be treated as if they had joined on 1 April.

Membership records are held in a secure computer database that is accessible only to Officers of the Society. Information recorded is restricted to name and address, membership number, telephone number, email address, collecting interests and how a member heard of the APS. This database is used to conduct the Society’s business including the generation of subscription invoices and reminders, and mailing labels for AUSTRIA and the Auction List. Contact with other members is only possible via Officers of the Society. The Society’s data handling policy is available here.
